Direct flights have been proposed to originate from Southern Californias LA/Ontario airports to destination Rocky Point.
The proposed flights are from airline carrier AeroMexico and would be provided by the carriers regional airline Aerolitoral. It is still unclear if these flights would originate from LAX, Ontario or both. The plan is to fly a 33 seat plane three times a week between Southern California and Rocky Point International airport. The current airport only has two runways, one asphalt and one gravel. The flights could begin as early as next month.
This is exciting news as this begins to open up the Southern California market to Rocky Point and increase the Rocky Point Reservations. According to reports, the flights will be subsidized in some capacity by time share and condo developments in town. However, this has not been confirmed by Reservations at the Point. The moment flights begin, a follow-up article will be released.
