Rocky Point new International Airport update

Rocky Point new International Airport update

Puerto Penasco, or “Rocky Point” as it is commonly referred to in the U.S., is one of the fastest growing real estate markets and tourist hot spots in Mexico. Rocky Point, which is less than 100 miles south of the border, is entering into the high-end vacation destination category currently captured by Cabo San Lucas and Acapulco. Because of this, there is a need for more infrastructure to support the growing tourism market. Currently, the biggest project in the plans to do this is a new International airport for Rocky Point. The planned airport will rival the size of the Tucson airport in Arizona and will increase the amount od Rocky Point Rentals. The $50 million International airport in “Rocky Point” will accommodate large passenger planes.
