Here you have 11 resorts to choose from. The Sonoran Resort group offers you 4 resorts to choose from, with each one being unique. The Sonoran SUN and the Sonoran SKY seem to be the most popular. The SKY is the newest of the properties and is a bit more luxurious. Both resorts are waterfront properties and feature beautiful pools, restaurants, and swim up bars. The resorts have nice size balconies for enjoying your morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset. All of the Sonoran Resorts are family friendly, but no pets are allowed to renters. Another great place to stay is Las Palomas
It is the largest of all the condo developments on Sandy Beach. With the lazy river, championship golf course, and choice of views, it is always a crowd pleaser. Las Palomas also features a very impressive restaurant.

Bella Sirena Resort is another great place
With its lush landscaping and beautiful pools is a very sought after resort. It features a small restaurant named SWIM which is a great place to hang out for some good bar food and drinks. The condos have nice balconies with great views. At Bella you can also rent Sea of Cortez view beach homes.

Las Conchas offers the largest selection of homes and beachfront homes for rent
You will find homes that will accommodate groups of all sizes. The homes have everything you need for a great vacation, so just bring your clothes, food, and beverages. At the end of Las Conchas is a condo development named Tessoro and it offers beachfront living at a private end of the beach. This resort lets you be away from town but still close enough to go for lunch or dinner in the city. Tessoro gives you oversized balconies with unobstructed sunrise and sunset views as well as 2 pools and a workout room. On weekends they serve drinks and taco’s by the pool.
Playa Encanto places to stay
It is about 15 miles from town and mainly consisted of home rentals until recently. This year the Encantame Towers opened up and is becoming a sought-after place to stay, due to the privacy of the area. It is waterfront and features a gourmet restaurant that overlooks the Sea of Cortez.
Last is Playa Miramar which is next to the Mayan Palace
Here you will find homes for rent that will accommodate groups of all sizes. It is about 18 miles from Puerto Penasco on a well-maintained highway.
