If you have not been to “the largest motorcycle fiesta south of the border“ now is the time to come on down to Puerto Peñasco. If you don’t have a reservation, better start looking around as almost everything is full. It is expected to bring about 8,000 bikes from all over Mexico and the United States, Canada as well as Europe.
Registeration is only $25.00 USD or $750 pesos per person and this will get you onto the “Pirate Ship” on one of 2 days for a harbor cruise as well as it show your support for the charities of Rocky Point. This is where you get your goodie bag filled with official patch, pin, koozie cup, pens and more. This is also where you can buy your official tee shirts etc.
The charities that your donation go to are:
1) DIF Puerto Peñasco and DIF Sonoyta ( this is a family service agency)
2) Cruz Rojo (Red Cross) of Puesto Peñasco
3) The Bomberos (fire department)
4) George Papanicolau Group (which teaches women’s cancer awareness)
6) CAM La Montana ( school for special needs children)
7) Casa Hogar (home for the elderly)
Registration goes from 9-5 11/9 and 11/10 at the Barklin Circle K which is just south of the overpass north of town. Here you can also buy your Poker Run cards($10 USD) and get your pin. Don’t just drive… by stop and say hi and register. Don’t forget to bring a new toy or stuffed animal which will be passed out on King’s Day in January. You can donate money and we will buy something if you don’t want to bring it down.

Southside Jillz from 6-9 enjoy The Wild Pack “Blues Against Hunger”, The “Kick Off Party” begins at Banditos from 7 pm to 1 am listen to the music of Darci Carlson (7 -9), Black Moods(9-11) and The Summer(11-1 am). Boo Bar will feature DDO from 8-11 and Wrecked at the Reef will have Matt Farris from 6-9
Registration is from 9-5
9:30 am meet up at Barklin for the Desert Ride to the Shuk Toal Visitor Center at the . Ride leave sharply at 10 am.
11:30 am if you have a wristband meet at Balboa’s Restaurant for the Rey del Mar Pirate Ship cruise. It is free with the wristband.
Entertainment continues at Playa Bonita for the Annual Beach Fiesta from 5-8 pm featuring Matt Farris.
Tekila Bar will host Los Ponchos from 1-4 and 8-11, The Satisfied Frog will have Richard Scott from 5-8, Wrecked at the Reef will have DL Marble form 6-9 and La Merca from 9:30 until closing, Boo Bar has Moonshine Voo Doo from 6-9 and the Black Moods form 9-12, Banditos will have Darcie Carlson, Black Moods and Summer, La Cantina at the Sonoran SKY will present Revolvente from 7-12, Southside Jillz will have Los Ponchos at 11:00
The Fiesta continues on both Calle 12 and Calle 13 featuring Los Tolerados starting after 7 pm and sponsored by Barklin Circl K and the Rocky Point Riders.
Saturday the 11th will start at Capone’s from 8-11, followed by the line up for the City Parade at 11:30. The Fiesta will continue all day on the Malecon in the Old Port. Enjoy your favorite bands at Tekila Bar (Moonshine VooDoo and Los Ponchos), Playa Bonita (Matt Farris), The Satisfied Frog (Randy-Mike and Daniel), Banditos (Darci Carlosn, Analog Outlaws, Black Moods and Summer), Wrecked at the Reef (La Merca and The Crown King, Boo Bar (Moonshine VooDoo), Southside Jillz (Los Ponchos), PK2 (Black Bottom Lighers)
The Fiesta will continue on Calle 12 and Calle 13 again with a band after 7 pm.
Sunday the 12th we bid you farewell until 2018 with the Blessing of the Bikes at Plaza de Madre which is across from the Tiburones Baseball Stadium. Still in town… go over to Rey del Mar cruise (Pirate Ship) free with wristband harbor tour at 11:30. Music will continue at Boo Bar, Banditos, Southside Jillz and Wrecked at the Reef.
