Fall Corn Hole Tournament in Cholla Bay

Fall Corn Hole Tournament in Cholla Bay

I am sure if you have driven out to Cholla Bay, you may ask yourself what do people do out here?  The folks in Cholla Bay are a very active group and they are always doing something to promote the Santa Claus Club that was founded by John Fowler years ago.  In a previous blog we touched on the OTL Tournament the benefits the youth of Puerto Peñasco via the Santa Claus Club being held the same weekend on Sandy Beach by Changos.

The weekend of October 27th will be another Corn Hole Tournament in Cholla Bay.  This event will provide entertainment for everyone while raising money for the Santa Claus Club.  The fun begins at Baja Cantina on October 27th at 6 pm.  On Saturday the fun continues at J.J.’s Cantina in Cholla and ends October 29th at Dukes Sports Bar.  There are money prizes for 1st – 6th place and even a prize for the 1st LOSER.

Fun for all
Fall Corn Hole Tournament

Go out and be a player or a spectator.  While you are there, take the time if the tide is out to walk out into the bay and look for Sand Dollars or other shells.  Make sure you stay for the sunsets as the are spectacular from there.  J.J.’s Cantina is know far and wide for their NO SNIVELING merchandise.  Get you t-shirts, license plate frames and more while enjoy a beverage on the outdoor patio under the big shade trees.  This a great way to meet new friends or catch up with some old ones.

Make your reservations soon as the condos and hotels will be filling up.  Need lodging, try Playa Bonita, Laos Mar, Baja Cantina or Penasco Del Sol Hotel.  Many people are interested in the tradition of Dia De Los Muertos or “Day of  the Dead”, so we are seeing more and more visitors coming for this event.
Any questions, email me at Blog@Puerto-Penasco.com.  Remember Rocky Point is only a 4 hour drive from Phoenix or Tucson and just 1 hour across the US/Mexico border.
