This is a reminder that July 4th is the Annual Las Vegas Charity Night at the Sonoran SKY Resort,Puerto Peñasco, Mexico with all proceeds going to DIF. I spoke recently with Jim Ringquist, Sales Manager for the Sonoran Resorts and it seems tickets are going quickly. Don’t be left on the outside looking in! They have incorporated several new games this year which should be exciting for everyone. You can choose from Texas Hold ’em, Black Jack, Prize Wheel, Roulette, Red Dog (new card game) and 2 dice games Chuck – a- Luck and Sic Bo. Jim said they are still looking for dealers, so if you have time give him a call.
Also they will be having that great Mexican buffet dinner which starts when the doors open at 7 until the food is gone. There is also a cash bar and there will be FREE Tequilla tastings. $30 pp gets you all of that and $300 in gaming chips.
Remember this year it is on July 4th, so hopefully you can break away from your table for a few minutes to enjoy the wonderful July 4th Fire Work displays put on by several of the resorts and the city. Considering this is a US holiday, the City of Puerto Peñasco along with Las Palomas and many other resorts put on a top of the line fire work display. We will all be oohing and awing.
Again, I can’t stress enough if you have children, DO NOT let them play with fireworks even Sparklers as they burn at something like 1500 degrees, so they are dangerous.
Please remember if you have “furever” 4 legged friends with you, make certain they are locked in your home or condo. Every year, after the noise is over, there are signs posted all over town looking for someone’s dog or cat. There is nothing worse than a poor dog from the US that escapes and does not know his surroundings and wanders off.
Tickets are still on sale from the SKY sales office or any of the Sonoran staff members at The Sonoran SKY, Sonoran SPA, Sonoran SEA or the Sonoran SUN. I am sure if you own a business in town, I hope you will donate door prizes for the bidding throughout the evening. Remember all proceeds go to the DIF charity.
Again, “welcome home” and I would be remiss if I did not thank all of you who have emailed with questions about Puerto Peñasco and are following us on www.Puerto-Penasco.com
