Every year, thousands gather for the ongoing party that is the
Annual Rocky Point Bike Rally. GET READY for this year's ROCKY POINT
BIKE RALLY.
2008 ANNUAL ROCKY POINT BIKE RALLY - NOV. 6-9.
Around 10,000 motorcycles enthusiasts are expected to arrive in
Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) from around the world for the eighth Rocky
Point Rally during Veteran's day weekend in November 2008.The Rocky
Point Bike Rally is an annual charitable motorcycle event that takes
place in Puerto Penasco, Sonora, Mexico. Since it is a charitable
event, all the proceeds from registration fees are donated to Mexico's
charities. Much of the action will be in down town Puerto Penasco!!!
The Rocky Point Bike Rally consists of many different events. It starts
with the Poker Run from Why, Arizona, to Rocky Point, several bike
contests, a golf tournament, exhibits, dice games and lots of food and
drinks. You can register for the event at the WELCOME tent (this tent
will be set up for the weekend of the event) located at the entrance of
Rocky Point. If you are planning to participate or just visit Rocky
Point to experience this madness of bikes and great fun, you need to
book as soon as possible. It gets extremely busy during that weekend
and finding the right place to match your needs may become a challenge
as the date gets closer. So, book early to secure your accommodations.
The exact dates of the Bike Rally this year are November 6-9, 2008.
Around 10,0000 motorcycle enthusiasts gathered for the 7th Rocky
Point Bike Rally in Puerto Penasco Mexico during Veteran's Day Nov.
8-11, 2007. A lot of the action was downtown with a great street parade
of motorcycles.
The actual event consisted of the Poker Run ride from Why Arizona
to Rocky Point, bike contests, The RideNow Invitational Golf
Tournament, games, exhibits and plenty of food and alcoholic beverages
(ie: beer!).
The Bike Rally is attended by many different people from different
parts of the world from many different backgrounds: lawyers, doctors,
blue and white collars, financial consultants, etc...All these rides
are supporting many charitable organizations in Mexico with this event.
2006 ANNUAL ROCKY POINT BIKE RALLY
This year the pachange took place November 6th to the 9th. If you
missed out, don't worry. Just make reservations for next year. Too many
wait til the last minute and they are left without accommodations.
Rocky Point does not sleep these 3 nights.... All of the resorts and
hotels are packed!!
The party begins at Playa Bonita on Friday. This is where the Poker
Run begins. After the Poker Run, the party continues at Playa Bonita
until the morning light!!
On Saturday, the party starts at the Malecon. The day is filled with fun activities at the Malecon.
