Is the new enforcement of the Federal Zone on beachfront houses going to affect the condos built on the beach also?

The enforcement of keeping public lands on the beaches open in Mexico is not new. A 'Notario' (government authorized land attorney) may be your best bet for info on a specific area or property.

The developers of the condo's would/should have gotten a permit (concession) for building in the Federal Zone (if they built within it) from the government. By the time you buy a condo that permit stuff is 'usually' done long ago & paid for by the developer/owner of the project.

If your really concerned just ask your condo association or the management office if your condo project has one.

The Federal Zone at the beach is public property for access & enjoyment of all citizens. To bypass the law you just buy a permit from the government & pay a fee.
